National Non-Profit in Alexandria, Virginia seeks a sharp, energetic, detailed oriented and organized Administrative Coordinator. Responsibilities include maintaining business and travel schedule, preparing travel arrangements, reconciling travel expenses, meetings & event support, data collection and tracking, composing memos, creating presentations, conducting media research and preparing monthly reports and other administrative functions.Requirements:Associates Degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one-two years experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced business environment. Relevant computer skills include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Successful candidates will have outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and poise and confidence to work effectively throughout all levels of administration. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills, be energetic and able to handle changing priorities on a moments notice, have the ability to respond to last-minute changes in calendar/schedule and make appropriate adjustments to work flow. Candidates should have an appreciation for organizational subtleties and a high level of discretion, as position may involve confidential data. Must be self-directed, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong sense of customer service.
